(VN)*substitutes: soy yogurt for plain yogurt; maple or agave syrup for honey

INGREDIENTS


 

  • 200g frozen berry mix
  • 5 tbsp (25g) porridge oats
  • 250ml unsweetened almond milk (or soya, oat)
  • 2 sprigs mint, leaves picked (optional)
  • 100g (6 ½ tbsp) fat-free plain yogurt *
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp seeds such as sunflower, flax, pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp runny honey (optional) *

Garnish

  • a handful of fresh berries of choice

 

  • METHOD


 

  • For a chilled smoothie use frozen berries otherwise thaw before using.
  • Soak the porridge oats in the milk whilst you prepare the other ingredients.
  • If using, pick the mint leaves from the stalks and roughly chop.
  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and whiz until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. If you prefer a more liquid smoothie add a little extra milk, as desired.
  • Garnish with some fresh berries, or any other fresh fruit pieces of choice.
