I used to use this excuse most weekends.⁣
⁣
Once I'd had something 'bad'...⁣
⁣
The guilt would kick in then I'd give myself a free pass for the rest of the weekend.⁣
⁣
Declaring...I'd start again Monday 😅⁣
⁣
How on earth do you break the cycle of having to start again every Monday?⁣
⁣
Well it's not by cutting out those bad foods at the weekend.⁣
⁣
It's what you do before/after those bad meals.⁣
⁣
What I do now, instead of going completely off track for the whole weekend...⁣
⁣
I make sure that my diet is in a good place out with any 'bad' meals.⁣
⁣
That might mean enjoying a takeaway on Saturday night...⁣
⁣
But making sure on Sunday morning I'm back on it.⁣
⁣
If you get really good at doing that, you'll find that you can still make progress.⁣
⁣
Even though you've had a takeaway for example.⁣
⁣
It's what so many of my clients get really good at, getting back on it.⁣
⁣
And that's why they lose body fat without having to cut anything out.⁣
⁣
So if you are constantly telling yourself you'll start again on Monday...⁣
⁣
Instead, make sure you get straight back on it with your next meal.⁣
⁣
Don't let 1 bad meal turn into a weekend binge.⁣
⁣
Once you see that you can still make progress without cutting everything out.⁣
⁣
It gets easier to get back on it after every bad meal. ⁣
